Course Description

Following the momentum of our inaugural program, ISLE Academy proudly presents the 2nd Edition of the Advanced Urology Robotic Training Workshop—a high-intensity, clinically grounded learning experience created to accelerate real-world robotic proficiency in urology. Delivered in collaboration with the Department of Minimally Invasive Urology, Athens Medical Center and led by Dr. Georgios Kyriakou, this workshop is designed for surgeons who want training that is purposeful, coached, and directly transferable to their operating room practice

This course is built on ISLE Academy’s signature approach: live clinical exposure paired with structured, hands-on progression. Participants begin with live case observation in a high-volume clinical environment, then transition into intensive practical training at ISLE Academy—where repetition, feedback, and deliberate technique refinement turn insight into skill.

The 2nd Edition retains the proven architecture of the 2025 program:

• Parallel live-case observation and practical training (rotational group format)

• Robotic systems fundamentals that matter in the OR: port placement, docking, OR setup, instrumentation workflow, and bedside efficiency

• Simulation-driven hands-on sessions with targeted coaching—progressing from foundational console skills to procedure-focused rehearsal

• Procedure-centric learning anchored in core robotic urology pathways (including robotic prostate and kidney workflows), with practical “tips & tricks” and complication-prevention thinking embedded throughout
